Campus Safety responded to a report of a vehicle striking cars while attempting to park and leaving the scene. The car was located later, on Campus and driver identified by LMPD.

Campus Safety responded to New Dorm to check on the status of a student at the request of the Dean鈥檚 office. The student was not on location.

Monday, Aug. 29 | 3:22 p.m. | Theft | Carpenter Library  

A staff member reports that a green Phillie Phanatic pillow was taken from classroom B21.The pillow was a personal item being used in the new student scavenger hunt.

A student was taken to Bryn Mawr Hospital at their request by Campus Safety for a reported infection.

A student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital by Campus safety for an injury to her left foot.

A housekeeper reports that approximately sixty dollars was taken from her wallet in an unlocked housekeeping closet.

Graffiti written in lipstick was found in the bathroom stall of the basement bathroom. It was removed by Campus Safety

Saturday, Sept. 3 | 10:50 a.m. | Medical Response | Denbigh

A student was transported to the Wellness Center by Campus Safety after injuring her left ankle while walking down the stairs.

Monday, Sept. 5 | 10:23 a.m. | Information Received | Pem East

A student reported that her roommate was entertaining a boyfriend who had had overstayed his welcome in violation of the guest policy. The boyfriend eventually left campus.

Monday, Sept. 5 | 4:48 p.m. | Trespass | Pem East

A female dressed in scrubs was observed by residents walking the floors of the dorm. She stated that she had been let in the building by someone. She stated that she was leaving to visit her daughter in Philadelphia. She was later found laying on the ground by HR. LMPD was summoned when the female became upset and belligerent. She was transported by ambulance to Bryn Mawr Hospital at her request.

There were no other significant incidents to report

A student athlete was transported to the hospital after injuring their ankle during soccer practice.

A student reports that a silver necklace was missing from her room and was last observed on a bookcase.

A student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital after experiencing a spreading rash.

A mouse caught on a glue trap in a student鈥檚 room was removed and disposed of by Campus Safety.

Campus Safety transported a student to Bryn Mawr Hospital at their request after she stated that she was having an asthma attack.

Campus Safety transported two students to 老王论坛 hospital and two to the Wellness Center for Covid concerns at their request.

Friday, Sept. 15 | 6:44 p.m. | Drug Offense | Pem East

Campus Safety responded to Pem East for a smoke detector activation in a room. It was determined that the student had been smoking marijuana in their room. The student was advised that it was not permitted. Referred to Dean.

Saturday, Sept. 17 | 1:17 a.m. | Alcohol | Pem Arch

A student was found vomiting into a trash can by Pem Arch after drinking. It was determined that she was okay to return to her dorm and be accompanied by a friend for the remainder of the evening.

Saturday, Sept. 17 | 1:43 a.m. | Assist Student | Pem West

A student became locked in their room due to a malfunctioning lock mechanism. Facilities on-call responded and rectified the situation.

Saturday, Sept. 17 | 1:59 p.m. | Sexual Offense | Off Campus

A student states that they were groped by an unknown older female as they were walking on the street. Lower Merion Police responded to campus to speak with the student.

Saturday, Sept. 17 | 11:37 p.m. | Assist Student | Enid Cook Center

A student stated that they were having a panic attack after an incident at Haverford College. The student did not wish for any further assistance after speaking with Campus Safety.

Sunday, Sept. 18 | 2:11 a.m. | Animal Incident | Denbigh 

Campus Safety responded to a report of a mouse in the room. The mouse was removed without incident. Facilities notified.

Sunday, Sept. 18 | 5:47 p.m. | Medical Transport | Rockefeller 

A student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital at their request after feeling ill.

Campus Safety transported a student to Bryn Mawr Hospital at their request after she stated that she had been vomiting all day and not feeling well for a few weeks.

Thursday, Sept. 22 | 12:02 p.m. | Vehicle Accident | Merion

A campus employee driving a campus owned vehicle struck a parked vehicle as the operator was attempting to pull into a spot. Minor damage reported.

Thursday, Sept. 22 | 1:15 p.m. | Well Being Check | Batten

Campus Safety responded to Batten House to check the well-being of a student at the request of a dean. The student was not on location.

Thursday, Sept. 22 | 4:57 p.m. | Theft | Radnor

A student reports that she discovered 8 Adderall pills and wallet containing cash and credit cards taken from her room while she was out with a friend. The room had been left unlocked.

Friday, Sept. 23 | 2:01 a.m. | Medical | Erdman

Campus Safety responded for a report of a student experiencing pain in the arm and shoulder after a vigorous workout. The student requested a cold compress but declined transport to the hospital.  

Saturday, Sept. 24 | 8:10 a.m. | Found Property | Rhoads (pond)

Personal property, including a laptop, cell phone, and assorted items were found near a bench by the pond. The owner, a BMC student was located and stated that they had had an 鈥渆pisode鈥 during the night. They had already spoken to their doctor and declined any further assistance.

A BMC facilities vehicle was struck by another as a college employee was enroute to campus causing minor damage to both vehicles.

Saturday, Sept. 24 | 11:27 p.m. | Animal Incident | Pem West 

A mouse caught in a trap was removed from a student鈥檚 room by Campus Safety.

Saturday, Sept. 24 | 11:45 p.m. | Intoxication | New Dorm 

A student was transported to the hospital after drinking an unknown amount of spiced rum. They were found semi-conscious and vomiting. Narberth Ambulance and Police responded at the request of Campus Safety.

Campus Safety responded to New Dorm for a fire alarm. All students had evacuated. Food had been left unattended in the microwave on the third floor. No damage reported.

A college owned vehicle from the geology department was broken into and items removed while in Wissahickon Park for a class. 

Tuesday, Sept. 27 | 11:49 p.m. | Medical | Taylor

Campus Safety responded to the rear of Taylor for a student feeling dizzy. The student declined further intervention but was transported back to their dorm.

Wednesday, Sept. 28 | 3:00 a.m. | Medical Transport | Denbigh

A student was transported to the hospital after cutting her toes on a radiator when stepping out of the shower.

Wednesday, Sept. 28 | 8:26 a.m. | Theft | Pem East

A student states that there have been several thefts of food from the food pantry on the third floor occurring between September 2 and September 20.

Campus Safety assisted in facilitating the return of property to a student.

Campus Safety responded to Batten to check on a student at the request of the dean鈥檚 office. The student was not on location

Friday, Sept. 30 | 8:30 p.m. | Medical Transport | Denbigh

A student was transported to the hospital for an anxiety attack at the advice of the telephone counseling service.

Saturday, Oct. 1 | 2:00 p.m. | Medical Transport | Erdman 

Team Health recommended that a student should go to the hospital following a short loss of consciousness. They were taken to the hospital by Campus Safety.

Sunday, Oct. 2 | 8:07 a.m. | Information Received | Rhoads 

Campus Safety was contacted by an HA regarding the condition of the basement common room following a party. Alcohol containers and beer pong tables were found in the room as well as a window possibly damaged during the party.

Sunday, Oct. 2 | 8:23 a.m. | Vehicle Accident | Canaday 

A student worker reports that they backed into a cigarette receptacle while driving the Lantern Shuttle. It does not appear that any damage was caused.

Sunday, Oct. 2 | 9:10 p.m. | Fire Alarm | Brecon 

Campus Safety responded to Brecon for a fire alarm. The alarm was caused by burnt popcorn in the microwave in the first-floor pantry.

Sunday, Oct. 2 | 11:18 p.m. | Medical Transport | New Dorm 

A student was transported to the hospital at their request after experiencing light headedness and dizziness.

Campus Safety responded to Pem East for the odor of cigarettes. The source was found in a room. The student in the room denied smoking but said they were burning incense. They were advised that burning of any material was prohibited in the dorms. 

Monday, Oct. 3 | 5:31 p.m. | Injury | Goodhart 

An attendee of a performance of an outside group was struck by a lighting cable during a show. They complained of a fading headache but declined medical treatment. 

Wednesday, Oct. 5 | 3:01 p.m. | Animal Incident | Arnecliffe

Campus Safety discovered a domesticated rabbit on the front porch of the building. The rabbit was captured and returned to Campus Safety. It was determined that it was a rabbit that a student had been keeping in their room and had been abandoned. The rabbit was turned over to a responsible party for proper care.

A student reported the discovery of a graphic poster referring to abortion and voting on a copier.

Thursday, Oct. 6 | 3:08 p.m. | Vehicle Accident | Gateway

A student reports that their vehicle was struck while parked and unattended in the Gateway lot. The individual left a note with a bad phone number on the vehicle. Minor damage sustained.

Campus Safety transported a student at their request to the hospital for vomiting and a sore throat.

Sunday, Oct. 9 | 6:46 a.m. | Fire Alarm | Pem East

Campus Safety responded for a fire alarm activation in a room. The cause was undetermined.

Monday, Oct. 10 | 1:11 a.m. | Alcohol | Radnor

Campus Safety responded to Radnor for a report of alcohol poisoning. The student was found vomiting in a trash can. The student was coherent and eventually picked up by her mother.

Campus Safety responded to Pem West at the request of a student鈥檚 former high school counselor to check their well-being because they had lost contact mid-conversation while on the phone. The student was fine.

A student was transport to Urgent Care at their request after experiencing indigestion and burning in their throat after getting medication stuck in their throat.

Campus Safety responded to the path behind Radnor for a report of a male that had collapsed. The male was conscious and but dazed. He was transported by ambulance to the hospital.

Campus Safety assisted the RLC in checking the well being of a student. The student was transported to the hospital for evaluation.

Campus Safety responded to Denbigh to check on a student after her parents received a low blood sugar alert for their student. The student was aware and took care of the issue.

Wednesday, Oct. 19 | 8:29 p.m. | Medical Response | Radnor 

Campus safety responded for a report of a student who had injured their ankle after tripping on the stairs. She was transported by private vehicle to the hospital.

Thursday, Oct. 20 | 10:37 a.m. | Check Well-being | Rockefeller 

Campus Safety responded to Rockefeller to check on a student at the request of her sister who had lost contract the day before. The student stated that their phone had died, and she would contact her family.

A campus employee reports that a paring knife was taken from the kitchen area sometime during the second week of October.

A student reports that her father has been harassing her. Her parents are divorcing, and she states that he has mental health issues. She has since blocked all access for him to communicate.

Students cooking in the Kosher kitchen inadvertently set off the fire alarm while cooking. Building was evacuated upon the alarm activation. No damage reported.

A fire alarm was activated in an individual room, apparently from burning incense.

A student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital for a reaction upon taking LSD and prescription drugs.

A student was transported by Campus Safety to the hospital for a complaint of difficulty breathing.

A student reports that somebody has been writing 鈥淛esus Loves Me鈥 on numerous occasions on her dorm room white board. The student is Jewish.

Saturday, Oct. 22 | 5:55 p.m. | Check Well-being | Denbigh

Campus Safety responded to Denbigh to investigate a key being left in a dorm and the occupant not being around. It appears that it was inadvertent.

Saturday, Oct. 22 | 6:38 p.m. | Assistance | Canaday

Campus safety responded to Canaday for a report of two students stuck in an elevator. The students were assisted in getting out. Facilities was notified.

A student was transported to the hospital at their request after experiencing continued vomiting.

Sunday, Oct. 23 | 2:33 a.m. | Alcohol | Merion Lot

Campus Safety responded to the Merion lot for a report of an intoxicated student. The student was coherent and able to stand. A friend agreed to stay with them.

Campus Safety responded for an odor of gas. The source was a furnace in the basement. Facilities responded.

Friday, Oct. 28 | 12:08 a.m. | Investigation | Bettws-y-Coed  

Campus Safety observed a sign posted on the wall in front of the building facing Goodhart. Two students were seen getting into a vehicle. The banner is a protest sign regarding Palestine in anticipation of The VP visit. No damage to college property observed.

Campus safety transported a student to the hospital at the request of the Wellness Center after she was found in distress at Old Library.

Campus Safety responded at the request of a friend to check the wellbeing of a student after they had not heard from them. The student was okay and was going to call their friend.

Saturday, Oct. 29 | 9:37 p.m. | Check Well-being | Arncliffe

Campus Safety responded to Arncliffe concerning a student who had wandered off after an argument. The student was located and advised of resources for help.

Saturday, Oct. 29 | 10:58 p.m. | Medical Assistance | Pem Arch

Campus Safety assisted an off-campus student who had fallen scraping their chin and hands. Further assistance was declined.

A student was transported to the hospital for intoxication by Narberth ambulance.

Sunday, Oct. 30 | 12:03 a.m. | Alcohol | Brecon

A student was transported to the hospital by Narberth ambulance for intoxication.

Sunday, Oct. 30 | 2:17 a.m. | Alcohol | Radnor

A student was evaluated by Narberth ambulance for alcohol intoxication and determined to be well enough to reside on campus with a friend.

Campus Safety responded to Erdman for a student feeling dizzy. The student declined further medical treatment and was transported to her dorm.

Campus safety responded to the area of Park Science for a report of an older male urinating. The male was observed by a group of students. A person matching the description was stopped by Campus Safety but refused to identify himself. He left campus without further incident.

Library staff reports that a small plant was taken from the reading room. This is the second theft of a plant from a library in recent months.

Campus Safety transported a student in distress to the counseling center.

Campus Safety responded to a room in Rhoads for an alarm activation. Unknown cause for activation.

A student was transported to the hospital by Campus Safety at their request.

A large crack was discovered in a plate glass window by staff. Facilites responded.

Library staff report that two plants were taken from the library.  

Friday, Nov. 11 | 4:00 p.m. | Vehicle Accident Off Campus | Swarthmore 

A campus vehicle was struck by another vehicle while on Swarthmore's campus. No injuries reported.

Sunday, Nov. 13 | 11:32 a.m. | Animal Incident | Merion

Campus Safety responded to Merion for a report of a dead mouse in a room. The mouse was disposed of.

Campus Safety transported a student to the hospital for a laceration to her leg after falling.

A vehicle was booted in the Wyndham lot for numerous unpaid citations. The student later settled their violations and the boot was removed.

A student reported that a crocheted whale that she had displayed for sale was taken from the hallway. The item was later returned after she sent an appeal out to the dorm. 

Saturday, Nov. 19 | 2:50 a.m. | Medical Transport | Radnor  

A student was transported to the hospital at their request by Campus Safety for an allergic reaction. The student later returned to campus. 

Saturday, Nov. 19 | 4:05 p.m. | Medical Transport | Erdman  

A student was transported to the hospital at their request by Campus Safety for a headache and sore throat. The student later returned to campus.

A student reported to Campus Safety that someone identifying themselves as "International Police of China" had attempted to  have money taken from her account through an email. A police report was taken.

A student set off the fire alarm while cooking. No damage and alarm was reset.

Campus Safety transported a student to Urgent Care at their at their request for asthma related issues.

Campus Safety transported a student to the hospital at the student鈥檚 request for respiratory issues. 

Thursday, Dec. 1 | 6:28 p.m. | Property Damage | SWAC

A staff member reports that she discovered a nail in their tire. The staff member is concerned that it may have been an intentional act after an encounter with an irate contractor on campus in the parking lot.

A student reports the theft of a package at the entrance to Old Library after notification that it had been delivered there.

Campus Safety responded for a report of an odor of marijuana in the dorm. The source could not be determined but is believed to have been from outside the building.

Campus Safety responded to the Wellness Center for a report of a student not feeling well. After consulting Team Health they declined further intervention at the time.

Facilities responded for a a boiler alarm was discovered by Campus Safety.

Campus Safety transported a student to the hospital to remove an IV port after she left the hospital prior to it being taken out.

A facilities vehicle was damaged while performing maintenance on parking lot lights.

A student was transported to the hospital by ambulance for alcohol intoxication.

A student was transported to the hospital by ambulance for alcohol intoxication.

Campus Safety responded for an alarm in Special Collections. The alarm was set off by an employee.

A student was transported to the hospital for a complaint of respiratory issues.

A student was transported at their request to the hospital for vomiting.

A student was transported to Urgent Care at their request for cold symptoms.

Campus Safety responded to Rockefeller for a fire alarm. The alarm was set off by unattended food in the microwave. No damage reported.

Tuesday, Dec. 13 | 1:23 p.m. | Assist Student | Gateway 

Campus Safety assisted a student who was involved in a minor accident off campus. Lower Merion Police responded for a report. 

Wednesday, Dec. 14 | 9:16 a.m. | Well-being Check | Rockefeller 

A student was transported to the counseling center after a well-being check at their request. 

Thursday, Dec. 15 | 1:18 a.m. | Gas Odor | Erdman

Facilities responded for a report of a gas odor on the third floor. 

Thursday, Dec. 15 | 12:39 p.m. | Information Received | Enid Cook Center

Campus Safety assisted in attempting to locate a student who had not returned from Thanksgiving break. The Dean鈥檚 office notified Campus Safety that the student had been located at home in Maryland.

Friday, Dec. 23  | 7:00 p.m. | Suspicious Odor | Rhoads 

Campus Safety responded to Rhoads for an odor of marijuana. Students reported getting headaches from the smell. HA鈥檚 sent out reminder emails to residents about smoking in the dorm.   

Saturday, Dec. 24  | 4:26 p.m. | Suspicious Odor | Rhoads  

Campus Safety responded to Rhoads South for a report of an odor of marijuana. A student was later relocated to another room to avoid the odor. 

Sunday, Dec. 25 | 10:40 a.m. | Suspicious Odor | Rhoads  

Campus Safety responded twice for the ongoing issue of marijuana odors in the dorm. Residential Life was contacted and made arrangements for a student to move rooms.   

Monday, Dec. 26 | 10:18 p.m. | Fire Alarm | Merion 

Campus Safety responded to Merion for an activated fire alarm. The alarm originated fro ma first floor bathroom. Facilities was contacted to rectify the issue.
