What's happening at your internship? We would love to hear what kind of work you are doing!
As my internship is about to end, I reflect on the knowledge I have acquired in areas such as graphics, communication, and health. Throughout this experience, I have honed my ability to work independently while effectively reporting progress to the team. In the past few weeks, we had the opportunity to assess our individual growth, and I take pride in the progress I have made. While a significant portion of my internship involved maintaining websites and enjoying some leisure time, it also opened my eyes to the exciting world of interdisciplinary computer science. Notably, I discovered an immersing interest in trading, which intrigued me with its seamless integration of communication, media, and computer science. The exposure to diverse fields has broadened my perspective and ignited a newfound passion for exploring the intersection of computer science with other different disciplines.
Why did you apply for this internship?
I applied for this internship with the goal of gaining practical, hands-on experience to complement my theoretical knowledge. Additionally, I sought to maintain a continuous journey of learning and spent this summer dedicated to exploring my interests in computer science and communication. This internship perfectly aligned with my initial quest to find a fusion of both these fields, making it a compelling reason for me to apply.
What has been your favorite part of this internship?
My favorite aspect of the internship is having the chance to work on specific projects in my own space, which allows for valuable moments of reflection. Additionally, I appreciate the opportunities to bond with my team members and have fun together. While I do spend a significant amount of time engaging in conversations with people, I find that working in a single room provides me with the perfect balance of productive self-time and meaningful reflections. It's like experiencing the best of both worlds — remote work and fieldwork combined!
