The following email was sent to faculty, students, and staff by Chief Enrollment Officer Pelema Morrice on Friday, October 23.
Greetings Campus Community,
I am pleased to formally announce several enhancements to our organizational structure. With a growing undergraduate applicant pool and more students seeking financial aid, we have restructured the division to support our ability to serve current and prospective students. The reorganization is guided by our newly developed vision to be an innovative and best-practice enrollment leader in liberal arts education. The changes listed below represent our first steps toward actualizing this vision.
The Office of Student Financial Services is now the Office of Financial Aid (Director, Ethel Desmarais) and is located in Benham Gateway, 2nd floor. This office is our primary resource for financial aid related inquiries. Billing and student account related questions should be directed to the Office of Student Accounts (returning to the Treasurer’s Office), located in Cartref, 2nd floor.
The new Office of Graduate Admissions (Director, Sheila Gillin) is located in Benham Gateway, 1st floor. This office is our primary unit to support admission efforts for the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and the Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program.
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions (Dean, Peaches Valdes ’99/‘03) has been reconfigured to enhance our undergraduate student recruitment efforts. Key enhancements include campus visits and events and undergraduate admissions processing.
We appreciate your continued support and patience as we navigate these important changes.
