Values/Strengths:
Individualization – I enjoy getting to know folks individually and seeing how each of our strengths contribute to creating a strong team. I love working with people to help them reach their objectives.
Context – I believe that our experiences and the paths we’ve taken shape our present and future. I find it helpful to reflect on past events and allow it to inform our way forward. I enjoy learning how we got here.
Connectedness – I see the linkages that exist all around us. I build connections and facilitate dialogue between people, recognizing what folks have in common while appreciating everyone’s uniqueness.
Learner – I am always open to new information and am excited to acquire knowledge and skills. This also comes into play as I recognize that we benefit from sharing our knowledge, skills, experiences, and wisdom with others.
Arranger – I enjoy figuring out how all the various puzzle pieces of our life and work fit together. To me, it’s important to find ways that resources can be arranged and shared to benefit us.

Outside of work, I enjoy: visiting local parks, downtown areas, and independent craft breweries.
Amanda joined the Career & Civic Engagement Center at ÀÏÍõÂÛ̳ as the Associate Director of Volunteer Programs in September 2023. In this role, she is responsible for the co-curricular volunteer service, activism, and advocacy programs in Civic Engagement. She enjoys exploring the intersection of civic and community engagement and student leadership development. Amanda has extensive experience in program development and management at two previous higher education institutions, Simmons University and Delaware Valley University. In addition, she was an AmeriCorps*VISTA member in both Massachusetts and Pennsylvania and taught English as a Teaching Assistant in Fougères, France. Amanda earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies (Diplomacy) and French from Susquehanna University and has a Master of Education in Community Engagement from Merrimack College. She lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with her spouse.
