Please join the Gender Inclusion Committee, Koko Zhang '19, and Professor Jess Shollenberger in an open discussion of the trans and non-binary student experience at BMC.

Koko Zhang '19, a former Gender Inclusion Committee member, will join us in a discussion about their experience at ÀÏÍõÂÛ̳ and the work the committee did in trying to increase the number of all gender bathrooms on campus. Professor Jess Shollenberger will also be joining us to guide discussion.

The teach-in will be largely discussion-based, with space for current students to share their experiences and concerns. We hope to start an important and needed conversation about the visibility and acceptance of trans students at ÀÏÍõÂÛ̳.

Attendance via Zoom is also possible. To join virtually, please . After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

ÀÏÍõÂÛ̳ welcomes the full participation of all individuals in all aspects of campus life. Should you wish to request a disability-related accommodation for this event, please contact the event sponsor/coordinator. Requests should be made as early as possible. The Gender Inclusion Committee is an SGA committee that works to maintain an inclusive, welcoming, and safe environment at ÀÏÍõÂÛ̳ for students of a wide range of gender identities. As understanding of gender evolves, it is our interest to help ÀÏÍõÂÛ̳'s administration and student body navigate what it means to be a Historically Women's College, and to create a better atmosphere and community on campus for students of all gender identities.
