Hannah Chinn (they/them) is a producer on NPR’s science podcast Short Wave. Prior to joining Short Wave, they worked on Spotify and Gimlet Media shows such as Conviction, How to Save a Planet, and Reply All. Previous roles include positions at WHYY, Willamette Week, and The Philadelphia Inquirer. Outside of journalism, they have held various roles in vintage stores, coffee shops, and haunted houses.
Nikki Ho-Shing
HR Business Partner Lead for Quantitative Research and Head of DEI at Two Sigma Investments
Nikki Ho-Shing is an HR, DEI, and internal communications leader with 20 years of experience in finance, most recently at a quantitative hedge fund in New York City. She serves on the boards of Legacy College Prep in the South Bronx and Bridge to Enter Advanced Mathematics, a nonprofit that provides underserved students access to advanced mathematics education. Nikki lives in Manhattan with her dog, Stanley, and is a (very) amateur flutist.

Ally Navolio creates and executes publicity strategies for all films distributed by Magnolia Pictures, a leading independent film studio and the theatrical and home entertainment distribution arm of the Wagner/Cuban Companies. Ally manages film talent, plans and executes events, arranges interviews, and pitches influential media.
Alison Robins
Associate Attorney, Intellectual Property Litigation at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP
Alison Robins is an attorney specializing in intellectual property law, primarily working on lawsuits involving patent and trade secret disputes. She counsels clients in the entertainment industry on trademark applications and protections. Alison maintains a pro bono practice that includes settling copyright disputes and assisting low-income New Yorkers in legally changing their names and gender markers with the Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund (TLDEF).
Andrea Tang
Novelist
Andrea Tang is a Washington, D.C.-area author of science fiction, fantasy, and young adult novels. Her works include These Deadly Prophecies, a Barnes & Noble YA Book Club pick; Kingdom of Without; and the Rebelwing duology, a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard selection. Additionally, she is a combat sports writer and martial artist, teaching and competing in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, where she has won titles at the Pan-American, European, and American National no-gi championships.
