Funding for Undergraduate Research
Students seeking support for faculty-mentored research, a scholarly project, or academic conference travel can apply to the Undergraduate Dean's Office for funding.
Research funding can be applied toward any approved expense associated with a scholarly project or independent research. Examples of approved expenses include lab materials, travel costs for visiting an archive or library, photocopying print resources, and purchasing materials for a performance or production.
Conference funding can be applied toward conference registration fees, travel, accommodation, and food expenses. Applicants must be presenting their own original scholarly research at the conference.
Students have made use of these funds to travel for research and many have presented at national conferences.
